Vintage Black & Gold Chinese Jacquard Satin Brocade
A lovely vintage rayon Chinese light to mid weight jacquard in black & gold. Ideal for dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets and light weight coats as well as accessories. Approx width 80cm. Sold by the HALF metre (50cm).
Estimated to be: 1960s
Composition: Estimated to rayon satin jacquard.
Main Colours: Black & gold (sand).
Drape: The woven fabric is light to mid weight with some structure, and has quite a fluid drape.
Condition: Unused condition from a private collection. It has a bit of age to it although no obvious markings.
Missy Mop says. A really lovely piece almost has a ‘washed silk’ look to it. Despite being black & gold it’s quite understated, the gold is quite subtle, almost like a sand colour.
