Vintage Mother of Pearl Buttons x 6

Beautiful high quality vintage mother-of-pearl buttons from unused stock. These buttons are predominantly dark with a natural iridescent shimmer—please refer to the photos for both front and back views.
Each button measures approximately 17.8 mm and features two holes. Please note that slight variations in size and shape may occur due to the nature of vintage production. Made from genuine mother-of-pearl, these roundish buttons have a unique, high-quality finish and timeless appeal.
These buttons were made in Germany at a former factory specialising in high quality (& thicker shell) mother of pearl buttons. The majority of the buttons sourced from there were from the turn of the 20th century to circa 1960s. Due to the manufacturing processes at the time the buttons are less uniform and appear a little more rustic & are often thicker than contemporary buttons. In some of the photos it may look like the buttons have chips, these are not chips but have smooth edges and add to the character of the buttons.
