Amelia Vintage Summer Cotton /225cm
True vintage. A vibrant summery patchwork style floral cotton, light in weight. Suitable for tops & blouses. Approx width 112cm, approx length 225cm. Sold as a piece.
Age: Estimated to be 1970s but can work across other decades especially 1940s 50s.
Composition: Cotton possibly a mix. I did a burn test and it suggests mostly cotton. It still has the original fabric sizing which you can feel (this will wash off) which made me think it might be a mix. The sizing gives the fabric some stiffness. It is ever so slightly sheer.
Main Colours: Green, red, yellow, blue on an off white.
Drape: The fabric is lightweight, floaty and crisp. The original fabric sizing (stiffener) is still on and will wash out.
Condition: Perfect as ‘New’. Unused condition. Both selvedges in tact.
