Vintage Chinese Rose Silk Jacquard
A vintage mid weight to heavy weight Hong Kong quality silk jacquard brocade in red & black with an untypical rose design. Ideal for dresses, skirts, trousers, jackets and light weight coats as well as accessories. Approx width 76cm. Sold by the HALF metre (50cm).
Estimated to be: A bit tricky to age 1980s.
Composition: Silk jacquard brocade, mid weight with structure.
Main Colours: Red & black.
Drape: The woven fabric is mid weight with some structure, quite crisp, no obvious drape.
Condition: Unused ‘new’ condition from a private collection, the piece was bought in China.
